Privacy Policy

Free Image Splitter is operated by Venture Success. This page explains what the site does and does not collect. The tool itself processes your images entirely in your browser — they are never uploaded to us or anyone else.

The short version

• Your images and PDFs are processed locally in your browser. They never leave your device and we never receive them.
• We use Google Analytics to count visits and Google AdSense to show ads. Both rely on cookies.
• We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't sell personal information.

Your files stay on your device

When you split an image or PDF, every step — reading the file, generating the preview, and building the PDF or PNG download — happens inside your browser using JavaScript. There is no server that receives your file. We cannot see it, store it, or share it. Once you close the tab, nothing about your image remains.

Information collected automatically

We don't ask for names, emails, or logins. Two third-party services do collect limited technical data when you visit, described below.

Analytics — Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are viewed, approximate location (country and city, derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and the site that referred you. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes your IP address to do this. We only look at this data in aggregate to improve the site.

Advertising — Google AdSense

We display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and others across the web.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's previous visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising in your Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Google presents a consent choice for personalized ads before they are shown.

Cookies

Cookies are small files your browser stores. We and the services above use them for analytics and advertising as described. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the splitter still works without them, though analytics and ads depend on them.

What we do not collect

• Your images or their contents.
• Names, email addresses, or account details — there are no accounts.
• Any data in a database of our own. We run no user database.

Third-party services we load

• Google Analytics — website analytics.
• Google AdSense — advertising.
• Cloudflare (cdnjs) — serves the open-source JavaScript libraries the tool uses. Your IP address is visible to Cloudflare when your browser loads these files, as with any website resource.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR (EEA/UK) or the CCPA (California) — you may have rights to access or delete personal data held about you. Because we keep no database of personal information, requests about the analytics and advertising data described here are best directed to Google, which processes it. We may update this policy as the site changes. The "last updated" date below always reflects the current version.
